Maine High School Softball - Traip knocked off by Wells
April 28, 2023: Kittery, ME 03904 In Friday's non-league contest, the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), by a margin of 16-5.
With the triumph, Wells moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Warriors host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to play the Raiders in a Class B South contest on Monday, May 1. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 3-2. Fryeburg won 6-0 in their recent league contest against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME)
In their next game, the Rangers play the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 29. Traip will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 25-7 non-league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME).
