The Union Pines Vikings lacrosse team (Cameron, NC), was nudged 11-9 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

With the victory, Pinecrest advances its record to 14-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 17-1. Chapel Hill won 22-6 in their recent non-league battle against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

The Vikings now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle on Thursday, May 1.
