Virginia High School Soccer - Fairfax knocks off Herndon
April 28, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) and the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), saw Fairfax's soccer squad knock off Herndon by a count of 4-1.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Braddock tipped West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Hornets battle the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Herndon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Statesmen enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
