Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN), 13-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Marauders host Lapel (Lapel, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 11-3. Lapel lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN)

The Eagles now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Greenfield-Central for a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, April 29. Delta will play a Cougars squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
