Kentucky High School Softball - Marshall County sneaks past Hickman County
April 28, 2025: Clinton, KY 42031 The Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) softball nipped the host Hickman County Falcons (Clinton, KY), 5-4 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Marshals now sport a 26-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calloway County for a District 4 outing on Tuesday, April 29. Marshall County will encounter a Lakers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Murray (Murray, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 1-21.
With the loss, Hickman County moves to 12-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to meet the Comets in a District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Carlisle County won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Crittenden County (Marion, KY)
