Kentucky High School Softball - Calloway County topped by Marshall County
April 1, 2025: Benton, KY 42025 Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), 15-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Marshall County improves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Marshals travel to Graves County (Mayfield, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 9-6. Graves County lost 10-1 in their recent non-league game against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN)
The Lakers now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall County for a District 4 game on Tuesday, April 1. Calloway County will play a Marshals squad coming off a 19-9 non-league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 12-1.
