Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), 4-0 in a league test.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Capitals in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Capitals come into the test with a record of 5-8. Broughton won 12-6 in their recent league test against Enloe (Raleigh, NC)

With the defeat, South Brunswick falls to 1-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a test on Tuesday, May 3. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 12-2. Topsail won 8-7 in their recent league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
