In Saturday's league contest, the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) softball team the visiting Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), by a margin of 5-3.

With the triumph, Dirigo moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME) to play the Mustangs in a Class C South contest on Wednesday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 3-0.
