Maine High School Softball - Winthrop bounces Telstar
May 20, 2023: Bethel, ME 04217 Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), witnessed Winthrop's softball squad tip Telstar by a count of 11-4.
The Ramblers now sport a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Buckfield for a non-league match on Monday, May 22. Winthrop will face a Bucks squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Bucks record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Telstar moves to 3-9 on the season. The Rebels host Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Monday, May 22. The Wolverines go into the match with a record of 0-5.
