April 29, 2024: Washington, IL 61571 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) and the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), saw Normal West's soccer squad get by Washington by a margin of 1-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Champaign Central for a Big Twelve test on Thursday, May 2. Normal West will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Danville (Danville, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Washington drops to 5-7 on the season. The Panthers host Canton (Canton, IL) to meet the Little Giants in a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, April 30. The Little Giants come into the test with a record of 4-11. Canton lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Limestone (Bartonville, IL)
