April 29, 2024: Greenbelt, MD 20770 Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD), 13-6 in a league battle.
The Raiders now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laurel for a battle on Thursday, May 2. Eleanor Roosevelt will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 5-5.
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Flowers will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Lightning come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 18-1 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
