North Carolina High School Softball - Red Springs gets by Clinton
April 29, 2024: Red Springs, NC 28377 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) and the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), witnessed Red Springs's softball squad tip Clinton by a count of 13-12.
The Red Devils now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they host West Bladen for a Southeastern Athletic 2A match on Tuesday, April 30. Red Springs will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Clinton moves to 5-14 on the season. The Dark horses travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to face the Golden Tornadoes in a Southeastern Athletic 2A match on Tuesday, April 30. The Golden Tornadoes go into the match with a record of 4-15. Fairmont lost 9-8 in their recent league match against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)
