In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Standish-Sterling Panthers baseball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Meridian Mustangs.

The Panthers (10-0) will now prepare for their game against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Lancers go into the Tri-Valley - 10 game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Bullock Creek was overwhelmed by Clare (Clare, MI), 10-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Mustangs play the Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) in a Jack Pine game, on Thursday, May 1. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Flying G's go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 13-0 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI).
