The Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) baseball the host Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), 6-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Gladwin for a Jack Pine challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Shepherd will clash with a Flying G's team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Meridian drops to 6-10 on the year. The Mustangs host St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Sharks go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. St. Louis lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI)
