Virginia High School Lacrosse - Benedictine Bishop O'Connell
April 29, 2025: Richmond, VA 23238 Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), witnessed Benedictine's lacrosse squad gain a win over Bishop O'Connell by a count of 15-13.
The Cadets (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Kellam edged Cox (Virginia Beach, VA), 10-6, in a league battle.
The Knights now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Ireton for a Washington Catholic battle on Thursday, May 1. Bishop O'Connell will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 14-1 league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-10.
