Michigan High School Lacrosse - Gabriel Richard overwhelms University Liggett
April 29, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Gabriel Richard Fighting Irish lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-6 triumph over the University Liggett Knights.
The Fighting Irish (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI). The Gryphons go into the AA Central Catholic contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Greenhills was overwhelmed by St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI), 12-5, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Knights meet the Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI) in a AA Central Catholic contest, on Thursday, May 1. University Liggett will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Ventures go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 26-2 league loss to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI).
