Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA), 23-14 in a league game.

With the triumph, Big Valley Christian improves its record to 10-15 on the year. The Lions travel to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA) to play the Red Hawks in a Mother Lode League game on Friday, May 2. The Red Hawks enter the game with a record of 13-6. Calaveras won 15-2 in their recent league game against Riverbank (Riverbank, CA)

The Bullfrogs now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Summerville for a Mother Lode League game on Friday, May 2. Bret Harte will play a Bears squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Linden (Linden, CA). The Bears record now stands at 8-11.
