Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Summerville Bears (Tuolumne, CA), 6-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Big Valley Christian improves its record to 7-13 on the year. The Lions travel to Linden (Linden, CA) to play the Lions in a Mother Lode League game on Tuesday, April 15. The Lions enter the game with a record of 10-5. Linden won 4-2 in their recent league game against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

The Bears now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Riverbank for a Mother Lode League game on Tuesday, April 15. Summerville will play a Bruins squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-16.
