Branford Buccaneers (Branford, FL) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), 6-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Branford improves its record to 18-6 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Fort White (Fort White, FL) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Indians enter the game with a record of 17-5. Fort White won 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Bell (Bell, FL)

The Fightin' Tigers now hold a 17-8 record.
