The Branford Buccaneers softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Bell Bulldogs to 4 in the Buccaneers league win on Friday.

The Buccaneers now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a 1A District 6 battle on Monday, March 17. Branford will confront a Fightin' Tigers team coming off a 22-16 non-league win over Bradford (Starke, FL). The Fightin' Tigers record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Bell moves to 2-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Dixie County (Cross City, FL) to confront the Bears in a 1A District 6 battle on Friday, March 21. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 1-8.
