The Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) softball nipped the host Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), 1-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leland for a Mount Hamilton outing on Thursday, May 1. Gilroy will encounter a Chargers team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-7.
