April 30, 2021: Athens, IL 62613 Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Athens Warriors (Athens, IL), 14-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rochester upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Rockets host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to battle the Cyclones in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 4. The Cyclones come into the test with a record of 12-1. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Highland, IL)
With the defeat, Athens falls to 1-5 on the season. The Warriors host Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL) to battle the Stags in a Tomahawk test on Monday, May 3. The Stags come into the test with a record of 0-3. Hartsburg-Emden lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL)
