Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wharton upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Durant (Plant City, FL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, May 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 19-5. Durant lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL)

With the defeat, Sickles falls to 15-9 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, May 7.
