Kentucky High School Softball - Scott County bounces Pendleton County
April 30, 2022: Falmouth, KY 41040 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) and the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), witnessed Scott County's softball squad tip Pendleton County by a count of 13-6.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan Station for a District 42 match on Monday, May 2. Scott County will face a Defenders squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, Pendleton County moves to 9-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY) to face the Thorobreds in a District 38 match on Tuesday, May 3. The Thorobreds go into the match with a record of 10-6. Harrison County lost 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Henderson County (Henderson, KY)
