The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ), saw Mountain Ridge's volleyball squad beat Sunnyslope by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 16-13 on the year. The Mountain Lions travel to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ) to play the Toros in a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. The Toros go into the bout with a record of 17-16. Mountain View won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Skyline (Mesa, AZ)

The Vikings now own a 8-15 record.
