The Granby Comets routed the visiting Norcom Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Comets (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Great Bridge topped Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 14-2, in a league battle.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Maury for a Eastern battle on Monday, May 6. Norcom will meet a Commodores squad coming off a 10-6 league loss to Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Commodores record now stands at 6-4.
