The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) and the host Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), saw Pope John Paul II's baseball team gain a win over Pottstown by a tally of 19-1.

The (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA). The Falcons enter the Pioneer battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Pottsgrove was overwhelmed by Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA), 15-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA) in a Pioneer battle, on Friday, May 2. Pottstown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-12 record after their 8-4 league win over Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA).
