Tennessee High School Soccer - Pearl-Cohn toppled by Independence Academy
April 30, 2025: Antioch, TN 37013 Independence Academy Lions (Antioch, TN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pearl-Cohn Firebirds (Nashville, TN), 9-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Independence Academy moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign.
The Firebirds now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Antioch for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Pearl-Cohn will clash with a Bears team coming off a 2-2 non-league Hunters Lane (Nashville, TN). The Bears record now stands at 4-5.
