Maryland High School Softball - Thomas Stone knocked off by Calvert
April 30, 2025: Waldorf, MD 20601 The Calvert Cavaliers overwhelmed the host Thomas Stone Cougars softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, May 2. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 6-5 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD).
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines go into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 0-12 record. In their last challenge, Westlake was routed by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 19-0, in a league challenge.
