Maine High School Softball - Foxcroft Academy bounces Orono
April 30, 2025: Orono, ME 04473 In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies softball team scored a tight 7-2 win over the Orono Riots.
The Ponies (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Raiders come into the Class C North match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Washington Academy was routed by Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME), 7-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Riots battle the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a Class C North match, on Friday, May 2. Orono will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 12-2 league win over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME).
