In Wednesday's non-league test, the Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN), by a count of 9-4.

Next, the Flashes meet the Southport Cardinals (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 1. Franklin Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, IN).
