Maryland High School Softball - Mt. Hebron bounces Hammond
April 30, 2025: Columbia, MD 21046 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) and the host Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD), observed Mt. Hebron's softball team prevail over Hammond by a tally of 13-4.
The Vikings (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats go into the Howard County bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, Wilde Lake was routed by Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 21-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Friday, May 2. Hammond will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 6-5 league loss to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD).
