The Lapel Bulldogs the visiting New Castle Trojans softball squad by a count of 7-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 3. Lapel will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN).

The Trojans (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Daleville was routed by Shenandoah (Middletown, IN), 10-0, in a league challenge.
