In Monday's league contest, the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Pirates face the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) in a BVAL - Santa Teresa contest, on Wednesday, May 3. Piedmont Hills will attempt to better on its 17-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA).
