California High School Volleyball - Gilroy overwhelmed by Piedmont Hills

In Thursday's league battle, the host Piedmont Hills Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gilroy Mustangs.

The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors come into the BVA - Santa Teresa battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Westmont defeated Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 1. Gilroy will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Trailblazers come into the battle with a 10-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Marina (Marina, CA).
