Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Wreckers clash with the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Saturday, May 4. Staples will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Danbury (Danbury, CT).

With the loss, Stamford drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Black knights host Darien (Darien, CT) to clash with the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County match on Friday, May 3.
