The Staples Wreckers volleyball team (Westport, CT), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT)

The Blue Wave (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels enter the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Shelton defeated Xavier (Middletown, CT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
