The Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) softball the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 4-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 10-11 record.
