New Hampshire High School Softball - Winnisquam bounces Mascoma
May 1, 2024: Tilton, NH 03276 Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH), 28-9 in a league challenge.
The Bears now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berlin for a Division III challenge on Friday, May 3. Winnisquam will face a Mountaineers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Mascoma falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Royals host Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH) to face the Wildcats in a Division III challenge on Monday, May 6. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Fall Mountain lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Brady (Concord, NH)
