New Hampshire High School Softball - Newfound Regional bounces Winnisquam
May 21, 2024: Bristol, NH 03222 Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), 6-2 in a league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Winnisquam for a Division III challenge on Thursday, May 23. Newfound Regional will face a Bears squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Bears record now stands at 3-16.
With the loss, Winnisquam falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Gilford (Gilford, NH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Division III challenge on Wednesday, May 22. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 14-2. Gilford won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH)
