The Triton Central Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Covenant Christian Warriors to 8 in the Tigers league win on Thursday.

The Tigers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-West Hendricks for a non-league test on Friday, May 2. Triton Central will play a Bruins team coming off a 5-2 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, Covenant Christian drops to 7-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 5-7. Perry Meridian won 9-4 in their recent league test against Greenwood (Greenwood, IN)
