New Jersey High School Softball - Tech bounces Arts
May 1, 2025: Newark, NJ 07102 The Tech Panthers softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Arts Jaguars to 7 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barringer for a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. Tech will confront a Blue Bears team coming off a 16-11 non-league win over West Side (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Arts moves to 1-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Irvington (Irvington, NJ) to confront the Blue Knights in a SEC - Independence battle on Monday, May 5. The Blue Knights come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Irvington won 17-12 in their recent non-league battle against Newark Tech (Newark, NJ)
