Milton Red Hawks (Milton, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Hawks now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watertown for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Milton will battle a Goslings squad coming off a 21-5 non-league win over Monona Grove (Monona, WI). The Goslings record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, DeForest falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Norskies host Waunakee (Waunakee, WI) to battle the Warriors in a Badger - North challenge on Friday, May 5. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Waunakee won 17-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Stoughton (Stoughton, WI)
