In Thursday's league challenge, the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA), by a final score of 12-2.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Trojans host Warren (Warren, PA) to encounter the Dragons in a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Friday, May 3. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Warren lost 11-3 in their recent league challenge against General McLane (Edinboro, PA)

With the defeat, Fort LeBoeuf falls to 3-8 on the season. The Bison host Girard (Girard, PA) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3.
