McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), 7-3 in a league test.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Trojans host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY) to battle the Marauders in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Marauders come into the test with a record of 2-1. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute won 2-0 in their recent league test against Nichols (Buffalo, NY)

With the defeat, General McLane falls to 2-5 on the season. The Lancers travel to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to battle the Ramblers in a District 10 Region 5 test on Friday, April 26. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 9-1. Cathedral Prep won 11-0 in their recent league test against Erie (Erie, PA)
