May 2, 2024: Felton, DE 19943 Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE), 9-8 in a league test.
With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Polytech (Woodside, DE) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-6. Polytech lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE)
With the defeat, Lake Forest falls to 5-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to MOT Charter (Middletown, DE) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-9. MOT Charter lost 4-1 in their recent league test against First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE)
