The Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) baseball trounced the visiting South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN), 14-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Vermillion for a Wabash River challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Riverton Parke will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 14-10 league loss to Attica (Attica, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 1-15.

With the defeat, South Putnam drops to 4-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brown County (Nashville, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a Western Indiana challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Brown County lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Sullivan (Sullivan, IN)
