The Milpitas Trojans topped the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Trojans face the Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) in a SCVAL - Foothill game, on Monday, May 5. Milpitas will attempt to advance on its 17-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 8-15 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).

The Pirates (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns go into the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton game with a 19-8 record. In their last game, Leigh gained a win over Independence (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
