In Thursday's non-league match, the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 15. Milpitas will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).
