The Starfires now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jay County for a Allen County battle on Tuesday, May 6. South Adams will confront a Patriots team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Woodlan (Woodburn, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Bellmont moves to 5-8 on the season. The Braves host Huntington North (Huntington, IN) to confront the Vikings in a Northeast Eight battle on Monday, May 5.
